I currently consult through EMF,
Inc, a technology consulting firm based in Keene, NH, serving
all of New England and Upstate New York.
I have worked in the IT field for fifteen years.
Past clients include small businesses including new start-ups
as well
as nonprofit agencies. I have been employed as a Network Administrator,
a Network Support Specialist, and a PC Technician. As a Network
Administrator, I built and grew a network to over 100 PCs in
nine offices spread out across five towns. I managed the telephone
and data issues for several office moves. I was also responsible
for several telephone and voice mail systems and cellular phone
service. I trained users one-on-one and in a classroom environment
on a variety of computer and telephone topics. I edited the agency's
Appropriate Use of Technological Resources policy and drafted
the technology strategic plan.
I also have extensive training (self-study and
formal) in a variety of areas including networking, project
management, and teaching/training. Some highlights are listed
